How to compost food scraps:

Blend 4 parts dry, brown stuff like leaves or sawdust with 1 part food scraps.  Turn at least twice a month.  If very dry, add water.  If very wet, turn more.  To compost meat and dairy products you will need a compost bin that is scavenger-proof.
